Qestions that impressed me about the  mawlid of prophet ‘Alayhi al salah was salam:

1. How many times did the prophet ‘Alayhi al salah was salam, celebrate his birthday?
2. Where did the the sahabah hold the first mawlid of prophet ‘Alayhi al salah was salam?

3. What type of sweets did were sold for the occasion?

4. What are the most famous songs that were sung on the mawlid?

If you cannot find the answer for these question in the time of the sahabah, then look in the Tabi’een, if you cannot find it in the time of the Tabi’een, then look in the time of the Tab’I al-Tabi’een. If you still cannot find it, then tell us, where did the bid’ah come from?
